My Journey

Foil Journey was created during 2024 as a means for us to share our passion for water sports and the excitement of hydro-foiling. Our goal is to Spread Aloha and Share the Stoke with enthusiasts looking to join our community.

Foil Journey’s inaugural adventure was August 24, 2024 bringing 8 participants to Chicama, Peru, the location of the longest wave in the world. The fully curated trip provided an all inclusive package designed to maximize fun, luxury and safety.  Foil Journey’s current schedule calls for 2 trips per year. Following great success of the first trip, 2025 has booked up quickly and 2026 is close to 50% booked.

In addition to curated adventures, we are offering various courses and coaching our of our base in Delray Beach, Florida. Examples include:

About the Founder of Foil Journey (David Silverstein)

David is a lifelong waterman with more than 45 years of water sports experience including:

* Windsurfing

* Surfing

* Kitesurfing

* Prone Surf Foiling

* Wing Foiling

* Downwind SUP Foiling

* Para-winging

David works remotely in the finance industry. After raising their children on Long Island, NY for more than 20 years, David and his wife Lauren re-settled in South Florida for a better work/life balance. Among other life priorities, David has always strived to explore emerging water sports and build a community. David’s enthusiasm is infectious, and he loves coaching others.
