How it Works

Members can contact the operations center at any time through the phone or mobile app if they experience a medical issue, injury, or security threat while away from home. Teams of paramedics, physicians, nurses, and military veterans coordinate care, organize field rescues, and arrange medical evacuations to the member’s hospital of choice. For example, if a traveler hiking in the Andes injures their leg and cannot continue, they can request help through the Global Rescue app. A team is quickly dispatched to provide medical attention, transport them to a nearby hospital, and, once stabilized, arrange an evacuation home for continued treatment. Global Rescue also provides travel risk reports, real-time alerts, and on-the-ground support during emergencies such as natural disasters or political unrest.
